Sound Induction Loops

Hearing Loops are designed to allow the hard of hearing to participate in one to one person or group meetings & improve audible hearing quality, working with the individuals hearing aid.

Pyramid Portable Sound Induction Loop

Pyramid loops are aesthetically designed with contrasting colours to highlight their existence with visible signage. The pyramid design makes it distinct and recognisable, as well as accommodating two upright induction loops, allowing the equipment to be used at any angle.

This is leading technology for a portable loop system, only introduced in 2005, & was recognised by the market as it was chosen as a Finalist in the New Products of the Year Award at Naidex, an industry exhibition held in May 2005.

The pyramid loop also incorporates a built in microphone as standard, which is fixed into the top for collecting sound without having to rely on rebounded sound like most loops on the market. The microphone can be easily controlled, & increases the loop range from 1 to 4 metres, enabling the loop to be more adaptable than comparable competitors & suitable for Reception desks/counters, Consulting rooms & small Meeting spaces.

An on/off switch is located on the pyramid and base, as well as hi/lo microphone and loop controls. The Lo loop setting ensures privacy when required and prevents bleed over to other hearing aid users. The unit also has fine adjustment controls under the pyramid, for tuning the microphone and loop for specific circumstances.

There are clear instruction markings on the base of the pyramid for ease of use.

The ridged top section is ideal for picking up and transportation, and has an air vent below to ensure the loop is kept at the correct temperature for optimum performance. There are rubber feet on the base.

"A definite market leader - a portable, smart looking sound induction loop, with flexibility of use - the docking station version overcomes staff forgetting to recharge"- David Stainton, FRICS, NRAC, Access Consultant.
